FAQ

🥖 Frequently Asked Questions

What products do you offer?

We offer a selection of sourdough loaves, made from 100% local and organic flours.
Our flours come exclusively from Moulin des Cèdres, which works with grains that are 100% local and 100% organic 🌾.
Our breads are baked on site every morning and delivered or ready for pick up between 7AM and 9AM.

Where are you located?

Our micro-bakery is located at 2600 Yearling Street, Saint-Lazare.
We don’t keep bread in stock — everything is made to order.
You can order online and pick up your bread under our porch when it’s ready 🏡,
or subscribe to get your loaves delivered right to your door 🚪.

What time is the bread ready?

Our loaves are baked on-site every morning.
They are usually ready between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., whether you choose pickup or delivery.
You’ll receive an email or SMS as soon as your order is ready.

For deliveries, please leave a box or container where we can place your bread safely — protected from the weather… and especially from the squirrels, who love good bread a little too much 🐿️😉

How do I pre-order bread?

You have two options:

🗓️ Subscription – Perfect if you love good bread every week!
Choose one or more delivery days, and we’ll bring fresh loaves right to your door.

🥖 One-time order – Ideal for trying it out or for a special occasion.
Place your order at least 24 hours in advance, and come pick up your loaf at 2600 Yearling Street.

Whether delivered or picked up, your bread is usually ready around 7–8 a.m.
You’ll receive an email or SMS notification when your order is ready.

What is a subscription?

A subscription is the easiest way to receive our sourdough loaves regularly without thinking about it — right to your door, every week.
From your customer account, you can:

  • pause your subscription
  • change your bread (up to 24 hours in advance)
  • add extra loaves for special occasions ✨

Everything is managed easily online.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver in several zones around Saint-Lazare, between Saint-Louis, Bédard, Saint-Angélique, and Saint-Charles.
👉 Check the delivery map on this link to see if you’re in our area.

Why can’t I order for today or tomorrow?

Our sourdough breads take more than 24 hours to prepare
That long, slow fermentation is what gives them their unique flavor and makes them easier to digest.
Each loaf takes its time — good bread can’t be rushed!

Can I pay in cash?

Yes 👍
For one-time orders, you can select “Cash on delivery.”
You’ll find a small box under our porch where you can leave your payment.
For subscriptions, we currently accept credit card payments only.

Which bread should I choose?

Here are our classics:

🍞 Country loaf – A great all-around choice, hearty and versatile.
🍫 Bread of the week – Changes regularly with the season and our inspiration.
🤍 White loaf – Softer, lighter, and loved by kids.

🌾 Nutritious breads:

  • 100% whole wheat
  • Rustic (with one-third rye)
  • Seeded loaf – a community favorite for its texture and flavor.

I’m sensitive or intolerant to gluten...

We don’t offer gluten-free breads yet.
However, if your intolerance is mild, feel free to ask for a free sample — many people with gluten sensitivity find that sourdough bread is easier to digest than store-bought loaves (and even some bakery breads) made with yeast.
Our slow, natural fermentation helps break down gluten, making our loaves gentler on the stomach 🌾

How can I support you?

👉 Our long-term goal is to grow our bakery, introduce new products, and maybe one day open a little shop downtown.

The best way to support us is to share your experience with friends and neighbours who love good bread and enjoy supporting local makers.

Thank you to our wonderful Saint-Lazare community ❤️
